Our developers have been hard at work over the past few months, and now we’re happy to announce we’re shipping three game-changing products in HR software.
SOVREN AI MATCHING ENGINE We have updated and redesigned our matching engine and embedded it in the cloud. Three significant differences between the old and new versions are:
- The new Sovren AI Matching Engine is hosted in the cloud: Customers no longer need to manage hardware to run our matching engine “on-premises.” We handle all of the storage memory, updates, and security for you.
- The new version has vastly improved performance and scalability: The new engine provides 10 to 20 times the speed/throughput on large document sets. Customers can search and match with sub-second response times (even on extremely large data sets). No matter how many documents you need to process, the Sovren engine can handle it. Additionally, we seamlessly handle expanding data sets. You are never locked in at a certain size; there’s always room to grow.
- Integration time is much faster: The time and effort required to integrate the engine has changed from three months to three days. Our first new-version customer was fully live, and fully integrated into their own UI, in 48 hours.
SOVREN RESUME ANALYZER We designed the Resume Analyzer to help candidates understand their resumes and to provide a diagnostic portal for our customers who are having an issue with a resume. The Sovren Resume Analyzer offers constructive feedback on how well your resume is structured and advice on how to improve it.
For candidates: Your resume will always be processed through a recruiting system that will extract your information directly from your document. If your resume is not in a digitally understandable format and structure, you are putting yourself at a huge disadvantage. Use our Resume Analyzer to see how well these systems understand your resume, and get contextual tips and advice on how to improve it.

SOVREN QUICK RECRUIT Small companies and startups who have only one or two openings a year don’t need a complicated (and costly) applicant tracking system. That’s where Sovren Quick Recruit comes in. When you sign up with Quick Recruit, there is no software to install. We provide you with a unique email inbox that you can then use when you post your job opening on job boards or on your own site. You can also upload resumes directly from your own computer!
Our cloud-based recruitment system allows you to create and share job descriptions, upload and parse resumes, and, most importantly, score applicants based on categories such as job title, skills, education, and management experience (eight categories in all). By adjusting these categories, you can customize the scoring to meet each position’s unique needs.
Our “disposable” recruiting system will help you evaluate applicants on an as-needed basis with no installation required. And with Sovren’s affordable recruitment alternative, you won’t have to commit to an expensive and complex ATS you’ll use only once or twice a year.
